Just so you know, [[:pl:Polandball|the Polish article]] was translated by several editors, and it appears to have been patrolled by a member of the Polish Arbcom, so there is no need to worry about verifiability, etc, etc. That article is a direct translation of the article in my userspace as seen here on Ossetian Wikipedia.
:::In relation to Ossetian photos, the only direct Ossetian photos I so far have under a free licence are at [[Архайæг:Russavia#Alania_Airlines]] (Alania now being a defunct airline). Military photos from North or South Ossetia are going to be somewhat difficult to come by, due to the obvious security situation. There are a couple of military photos in [[:Commons:Category:Dmitry_Medvedev_in_South_Ossetia,_July_2009]] that I uploaded a few years ago. (I also wrote [[:en:Russia–South Ossetia relations]] and had it featured on front page of enwiki on the 1st anniversary of the beginning of the war). But having said that, after the 2008 war, I got permission from Kremlin to use their photos (as per [[:Commons:Template:Kremlin.ru]]), so I will be writing to mil.ru, etc in the New Year (after Orthodox Xmas, etc) and try to get permission to use their photos/videos, etc. It is these resources which would be best for "Ossetian" related military photos, etc.
