If you refer to http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Template:Cominf all photos from the galleries at http://cominf.org/photo can now be uploaded to Commons. This is an invaluable resource for us, wouldn't you agree? Perhaps we could put a message on os.wiki village pump to advise editors here on the project that this photographic resource is available to us?
