Unicode has a Latin Ae and a Cyrillic Ae. It seems like articles in os.wikipedia often use the Latin Ae, where the Cyrillic should be used instead. Has there been any discussion about this? The topic recently came up on ru.wiktionary. The two characters look exactly the same, so special tools are needed to discover the difference. :It's already became a tradition to use Latin Æ instead of Cyrillic one in Ossetian texts. Most Ossetian users and websites use it since the early 2000's, so the majority of texts just won't appear if you will Google some Ossetian words using Cyrillic layout.
